collections, you may use all the clips in broadcast, non-broadcast, and
Internet productions as long as you wish. You may not resell or license any of the shots
to any other person or company. What is the advantage of purchasing Royalty free footage?Simply, you get more for paying less. Traditional video footage licensing fees start at around 25 U$ per second for a single broadcast use. Imagine the flight of a manta ray over a tropical coral reef, just one shot, length: 30 seconds , costs: 600U$ for a single use plus research fees, dubbing costs, etc. . For the 600U$ you can get around 10 minutes of underwatercam royalty free footage and use all shots as long as you wish. So, it is not just about saving money, it is about making money. You can charge your clients for the use of every single shot you place into their production. Shot by shot, client by client.
